Introduction to Support Planning

Self-directed support is here. Learn how to create a support plan for people who have a budget or Individual Service Fund. The course introduces different approaches to gathering information, supporting decision making, graphicing, managing a budget and thinking about risk.

It is for anyone who is going to be writing support plans for themselves, a family member or someone they support.

Community Bridge Building

The course has a practical focus on inclusion. Participants will learn how to support people with learning disabilities effectively to be part of the community they choose and to develop significant and on going relationships.

Active Support enables staff to work with people, supporting them to take part in the activities of everyday life, regardless of their impairment.
