We are running Take A Risk - Take Control for young people with learning difficulties this summer. There are 4 workshops about being safe at home and in the community

Staff You Choose - Learn how to choose your own staff
This course is useful to people with learning difficulties using direct payments or self-directed support .
It is useful if you are thinking about using direct payments or self directed support.
It will be good for anyone supported by an organisation that involves people with learning difficulties in choosing staff.
The 10 week course will look at the whole process of choosing staff. It will cover deciding what you want staff to do, writing an advert, being fair to everyone, interviewing, deciding the best person for the job.

A day for people with learning difficulties to learn about self-directed support and what it could mean for them. Participants will get to think about -
